elaine f. cidzik is THE Computor Tutor, not just a computer tutor. She began professionally training people to use and purchase software and hardware in 1984. She started training people when IBM released the first IBM PC. Her computing background includes working with software on mainframe (huge), mini (mid-size, think the almost forgotten Digital Equipment Corporation or WANG), and personal computers (PC and MAC).
The main objective for all her clientele is to provide them with timely and efficient solutions so they can work smarter (less) and have more time to chip away at their bucket lists.
elaine has worked for several well-known software firms in the United States and Europe. Her extensive experience, coupled with a degree in Business Administration, allows her to understand the diverse needs of each client and to assist in the adaptation of the software and hardware to meet their ALWAYS unique, and sometimes unusual, requirements. She is also a faculty member of Salem State College (since 1990), teaching credit-based computer courses in the day division, courses that satisfy the College's requirement for computer literacy.
Below is a list of some of the industries that The Computor Tutor has provided services for. In addition, The Computor Tutor has taught teachers, administrators and staff at more than twenty Massachusetts school districts. Frequently, The Computor Tutor is requested to run workshops for teachers' professional development days, which are eligible for PDPs (Professional Development Points).
GRAMMAR NOTE: Yes, I know Computor is spelled Computer, with an ER, not an OR. It looked better in print as COMPUTOR TUTOR, than COMPUTER TUTOR so forgive me, my many English teachers and fellow readers, I took creative license with the company name.
