Services are provided and invoiced by the hour, not by the job. It is almost impossible to quote how much time an installation or problem solving visit will take. Many factors are involved from the physical location of the computer or component in question, to the age of the computer (older machines are slower), to the type of visit: software mis-behaving, internet won't connect, new printer won't talk to older computer, etc.

Travel charges: we may charge for travel, given our location in Danvers, MA and your location, say on the Cape. One hour of travel is usually charged when the client's location is more than 20 miles from the Tutor's location.

Charges per hour range from $70.00 - $125.00

Payment is expected on the day the services are provided. Cash or check are the only accepted forms of payment.

The Computor Tutor donates AND loans a percentage of income each month to www.kiva.org

Kiva is the world's first person-to-person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs around the globe.

The Computor Tutor also donates new books to the Peabody Institute library of Danvers by purchasing them monthly through their link to Amazon.com on the internet. The library has created a Wish List for books that are in need of replacement from years of wear and tear.
